Painting Road Trip to Scotland

This year, I had the pleasure of going on two painting trips to Scotland—one in winter and another in early autumn. After plenty of weather watching and planning, I was lucky enough to get some perfect conditions for painting.

I traveled in my van, which gave me the freedom to stay mobile, explore, and be up at the crack of dawn to catch the best light!

I based myself in the Inner Hebrides, discovering new locations, with highlights being the stunning islands of Skye and Mull. I also had a memorable stay in the Torridon Range, where the vast mountain landscapes were incredibly inspiring.

Midges kept me on my toes, but that won’t stop me from planning another trip!
